Every Sunday when we gather to worship we open up the Bible together as we believe God speaks to us through it. Come and join us to discover for yourself how God still speaks today.

April to June

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you and you will be my witnesses to Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth ” (Acts 1:8)

From after Easter all the way through to Ascension Day, Pentecost and beyond we’ll be in a series called Come Holy Spirit, exploring how God’s Spirit is at work today—equipping, guiding, and speaking into our everyday lives.

Jesus promised that, “the Holy Spirit… will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you” (John 14:26). In this season between Easter and Pentecost, we’re not waiting for something new, but being reminded of what is already true—that the risen Jesus is with us by his Spirit.

The Sundays we’ll be working our way through this series are;

APRIL:

12th - Who is the Holy Spirit?

19th - The Spirit Reminds and the Voice of the Spirit

26th - Eagerly Desire Spiritual Gifts

MAY:

10th - Prophecy Builds the Church

17th - Discernment and Wisdom

24th - All Hear and Speak (PENTECOST)

31st - Responding to Promptings

JUNE:

14th - Healing and Power

21st - Testing What You Hear

28th - Filled Again

During our All Together service, on the first Sunday of each month we are taking at a different animal described in the Bible and how they help us think about who Jesus is and what Jesus came to do.

This term we’ll be looking at these three animals;

FISH: 7th June
